SED Construction, Inc. is a woman-owned business started when Lana Cavassa became a General Contractor in 2001. Lana is also a licensed attorney that spent the first part of her legal career doing construction defect work.
Lana has extensive experience in construction (ground up, pre-engineered metal buildings and commercial renovations), demolition, abatement, and construction management. She has been licensed as a General Contractor in seven states throughout the Southeast and Texas.
Lana currently holds a commercial unlimited license in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. Lana is the Vice-Chairwoman of the General Contractor’s Licensing Board for the state of Georgia.
